Korean Beef and Rice Bowls
Weeknight
This dish is sweet, tangy, and savory — the honey and orange juice create a glossy glaze, soy sauce adds depth and saltiness, and garlic gives a fragrant kick. The chicken comes out tender and full of flavor, perfect over rice or noodles.

Prep chicken: Pat chicken dry and cut into bite-sized pieces if using breasts.
Brown chicken: Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken and lightly brown for 2–3 minutes per side.
Add garlic: Stir in minced garlic and cook ~30 seconds until fragrant.
Add sauce: Pour in soy sauce, honey, and orange juice. Stir to coat the chicken.
Simmer: Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer 8–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens into a glossy glaze.
Tip: For extra glossy sauce, uncover the pan for the last 2–3 minutes to let it reduce a little.
